Vincent Grim, Gamma Theta (West Chester) '06

Vince is entering his fourthyear on staff. As an undergrad,Vinceheld the position of Upsilon, Sigma, Pi, Phi, Beta, Recruitment Chair, and Tau in his Chapter. Vincehas also servedon his campus'IFC executive board asExternal VP, in charge of Community Service and New Member Education. While holding this position Vince planned two leadership conferences for the New Members of the Greek Community at West Chester. Vince facilitates both Men of Honor and at the NIC's UIFI leadership conference.

Deb started her long association with Phi Kappa Sigma in September 1988. She has beensupported by 4 Executive Directors, 7 Grand Alphas, 8 Director of Chapter Services and numerous Assistant Directors/Educational Consultants.Deb and her husband, Vic, a Phi Kap with the Gamma Beta Chapter at Drexel University, celebrated 34 years of marriage on July 21. They have three children: Justin, 30, a Senior Systems Engineer in Portland, Oregon; Austin, 27, a self-employed Personal Trainer; and Lara, 26, is pursuing a BA at the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago, IL. Deb, Vic, and Austin live in Phoenixville, PA. Deb's interests include reading, music, gardening, traveling, and cooking.


Director of Development
Christopher Hanes, Beta Mu (Southern Alabama) '01

Brother Hanes holds a B.A. in Psychology (minor in Business) from South Alabama.As an undergrad, Chris was heavily involved in organizational and leadership activities and served as the President of both the Student Government Association and the InterFraternity Council. He was inducted into several honor societies including Order of Omega, Psi Chi, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Mortar Board, and was a Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. With that background Chris came to work for the International Fraternity after graduation and served as Director of Chapter Services from 2001-2004.While on staff he was an active supporter of the North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC), and served as a facilitator for the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI) and IMPACT.With a passion for leadership development, Chris has been a huge supporter of the "Men of Honor" program, being an initial developer and continuing to serve as a facilitator every year. After leaving staff in 2004, Chris served as Assistant Grand Delta of the Southwest and as a Director of Expansion for the Expansion Committee before being elected Grand Theta at the 93rd Grand Chapter in Boston.Chris moved to Las Vegas in 2004 and married his wife Jodi in July 2005.Previously, he was a Branch Manager for Enterprise Rent-A-Car on the Strip in Las Vegas. Since rejoining staff, Chris has moved back east and currently resides in North Carolina with his family.Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter Caroline, son Joseph, and watching football, playing soccer, mountain biking, traveling, and reading books on business and leadership.


Executive Director
Hamilton F. "Toby" Smith, Phi (Richmond) '83

Brother Smith was hired in February 2002 as a Consultant to serve as the Interim Executive Director of the Phi Kappa Sigma International Fraternity Headquarters. He subsequently was offered a full-time position in August 2002. Toby is a member of Phi Chapter where he held several Chapter executive committee positions. He was very active on campus leading the genesis of the Committee on Alcohol Responsibility and Education (C.A.R.E.) and serving in several IFC leadership positions. He graduated from the University of Richmond in 1983 with a B.A in Math. Toby then earned an M.B.A. in International Business from George Washington University in 1994. Toby has held several senior leadership positions at major corporations such as AT&T and Ameritech and was recently CIO at internet-based software development company Arrowsight (formerly ParentWatch). He lives in Skillman, New Jersey with his wife of 25 years, Debbie, daughters, Katie (21) and Madison (19), and son, Patrick (15). Toby holds a class "E" soccer coach�s license and is a United States Soccer Referee Association Level 8 certified referee. Although retired from volunteer coaching of his children's soccer teams, he continues to referee every Sunday during the seasons. Toby also enjoys Bridge, Squash, Scuba Diving,Boating, and home remodeling.
